Epicentred in Nuwakot, 4.2 ML aftershock felt

KATHMANDU, July 27: An aftershock measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale with epicenter around Gaun Kharka VDC on border between Nuwakot and Sindhupalchok district struck at 6.23 pm today.

According to the National Seismological Centre, it was an aftershock of the massive 7.6 Richter scale earthquake which jolted Nepal's central region on April 25.With the latest aftershock, the number of aftershocks has climbed to a whopping 359, the centre stated. RSS
