The commission has spent Rs 81,400,000 for setting up the office of chief returning officers and returning officers across the country, while it has released Rs 91,700,000 for the district election offices.
Similarly, the EC has paid Rs 1,600,000 as custom charge for bringing election materials provided by the Chinese government.
Likewise, the commission has expended Rs 10 million for printing ballot papers for the proportional and first-past-the-post (FPTP) electoral system and Rs 15,100,000 as motivational allowances.
According to the expenditure sheet of the EC, it has expended Rs 2,500,000 for insurance of officials and staffers to be deployed for the new CA election.
The commission has spent Rs 11,400,000 for the special program for voter registration.
The EC had given one week window-period for voter registration.
According to EC officials, the constitutional body will make public the details of expenditures after conducting the polls.
The EC has received Rs 3 billion from the government, while various international donor agencies have provided Rs 4.75 billion for conducting the CA polls.
