KATHMANDU, Jan 19: Durga Prasai, a medical entrepreneur turned pro-monarch campaigner, has been arrested in Pokhara.
According to Kaski Pokhara Office, Prasai was arrested from a public function in Pokhara after an arrest warrant was issued by Kathmandu Police Range.

SP Nabin Karki of the Kaski Police Range said that Prasai was arrested from a function at the request of Kathmandu Police. Currently, Prasai, under custody, is being escorted to Kathmandu via airways.
Details about his arrest are yet to be released. However, police sources said that his aggressive statements and calling youths to capture the state mechanism have forced police to arrest.
