Driver killed in gas bullet accident

NAWALPARASI, March 14: A tanker (L.N.O 1 N 3922) carrying LPG gas en route to Kathmandu from Bihar of India met with an accident at Dumkibas-5 of Nawalparasi district along the East-West Highway, killing its driver on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Sonu Kumar Thapa, 24, of Bihar, according to DSP Arjun Ranabhat of the District Police Office, Nawalparasi. He said that the bullet turned over in the road but there were no gas leakages.Meanwhile, four persons have sustained injuries in a separate accident after a truck and LP gas bullet collided near the tanker accident site on Sunday night.

All four injured are receiving treatment at the Bharatpur Medical College, Chitwan, according to police
