RAUTAHAT, June 27: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Monday said that he is yet to understand why the senior orthopedic Dr Govinda KC demanded impeachment motion against Chief Commissioner at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Lokman Singh Karki.
Dahal, who arrived here to attend a wedding ceremony of his party’s lawmaker, remarked that Dr KC came down heavily on CIAA Chief Karki.
“I’m yet to understand the issue,” he said in a brief comment to reporters, “I don’t know why he came down heavily against the CIAA Chief suddenly.”
On a separate, Dahal said that the government and the main opposition party should solve the problems of earthquake victims by exhibiting utmost flexibility.
“I have told the prime minister to resolve the issue,” he said, adding that his party is for providing Rs 500,000 to quake victims.
