KATHMANDU,July 31: UCPN (Maoist) leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said that Baidya-led CPN-Maoist has not shown any interest in joining the election process.

"The door for dialogue is always open for Baidya," said Shrestha at an interaction organized by Reporters´ Club in Kathmandu on Wednesday. He added that the four parties represented in High Level Political Committee were ready to address their genuine concerns. “Though there is a slim chance of Baidya joining the poll process, we will keep the doors open for talks.” He also claimed that CPN-Maoist´s poll boycott would not make any difference. “In a multi-party democracy political parties have the right to participate or boycott the polls. However, they don´t have any right to disrupt the election process.” [break]
