The test on blood samples was carried out in different hospitals in Chitwan district.

The office said that the number of dengue patients has not decreased yet. Vector Control Supervisor Ram KC said that he was hopeful of the decrease in the number of dengue patients following the slight decrease in temperature.

Most of the dengue infected people are found at the Chitwan Medical College followed by Bharatpur Hospital, said the doctors.

Following the rise in the number of the dengue patients along with the viral fever, health camps have been set up and insecticide has been sprayed with the help fogging-machine for a week in an attempt to control the disease.

Public Health Officer Mahendra Shrestha informed that the number of dengue patients rose to 113 on September 28 from 94 a day earlier.
