Both Sanash Builders Construction Company of Kathmandu and Degree Construction Service of Sunsari was supposed to begin construction of six different roads in various parts of the district, informed Samar Bahadur Khanal, chief of Road Division Office, Morang. [break]
“Both the companies had bagged the contract by quoting the lowest cost but they have not started their work yet. Hence we have blacklisted the two construction companies,” said Khanal. “We have also sought clarification from them for delaying construction work,” added Khanal.
“These companies will probably be barred from undertaking any government project for the next three years,” said Khanal.
