It has been difficult to clear the road since landslide is continuous, said District Police Office. A group of Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, local and Nepal Police has put efforts to clear the landslides.
With the road obstruction, vehicles heading to Pokhara from Kathmandu have been stopped in Damauli and the long-route vehicles from Pokhara to Kathmandu, Narayangarh, Birgunj and Hetauda have been also stranded in the same area.
The landslide has put dozens of houses of Byas Municipality at risk.
