SUNDARIJAL, Nov 16: CPN (UML) senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has accused the UCPN (Maoist) of not becoming serious towards forging a consensus on the budget issue and thereby pushing the country towards uncertainty.

Speaking at the concluding day of the Deusi Bhailo programme organised by the CPN (UML) Jorpati Village Committee on the occasion of the Tihar festival on Friday, Nepal accused UCPN ( Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of taking a double stand on the consensus matters also taking the country into a hostage of indecisions.

Agreement with the incumbent coalition forces was not possible until and unless Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai resigned from his post", he said.
