Dahal: My visit to India aimed at accumulating support to polls

NEPALGUNJ, April 24: Chairman of UCPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Wednesday said that his upcoming India visit is aimed at accumulating the India’s support to the new elections of the Constituent Assembly (CA).



Speaking at a function of unveiling the statue of  martyr Setu BK who was killed during the Jana Andolan-II here in the Banke district, Dahal said that he would also take up the issues of development of Lumbini, Mid-hill Highway and Nepal’s urban development to India during his trip.



Stressing on the need of economic development to make new Nepal, Dahal said, “Despite having immense natural resources and hardworking people in the country, people are very sad as political settlement could not be achieved.”
