Addressing a function organized by the party in Bajura on Saturday, Dahal said, “Bajura is the most neglected district in the country.” He then said that his party would take special initiatives for the development of the district. [break]
“Bajura suffers today due to lack of development works and the government´s neglect of the district,” claimed Dahal, adding, “Our party has ambitious economic plans for the development of the district.” He said it is only the UCPN (Maoist) that is serious about the development of the district.
“Our party would also take initiatives to increase investment in tourism and hydropower sector in the district,” said Dahal. “We assure you development if we win the elections,” he said, adding the party would take initiatives for the construction of highways, bridges and hydropower projects in the district.
On the occasion, Dahal also welcomed Nepali Congress Mahasamiti member Padam Bahadur Sahi into his party.
