CHITWAN, May 31: A cyclist was killed after being hit by a truck (Bagmati Province 03-001 Kha 1863) near the Martal bridge in Rapti Municipality-4 along the East-West Highway on Tuesday night.

The deceased has been identified as Hari Pandey, 65, of Rapti Municipality-4. He died at Old Medical College, said the police. The police have held the driver of the truck for necessary investigation.
