The party has threatened to launch strong protest against the administration if the cadre is not released unconditionally.
According to the District Administration Office, one Ganesh Rai, was arrested on the charge of setting fire to a tractor (Lu 2 Ta 1110) on the basis of complaint filed by the tractor owner.
The party´s district secretary Chandra Bahadur Chand has however claimed that Rai was framed by a local contractor.
