Transport services, markets, factories and educational institutions have been completely closed due to the banda in the districts from Lumbini to Seti zone. [break]
According to police, the market places of Tulsipur, Bhaluwang, Lamahi and Ghorahi have been completely shut down due to the banda.
The traffic in and out from the district have been were also stayed off the road.
CPN-Maoist called the western Nepal banda today demanding release of its cadres arrested from different places in course of protesting election to the Constituent Assembly (CA).
The banda organizer has said that local markets of districts would be opened from 12:00 noon today in view of the upcoming Tihar festival. However, the transport services will resume only after 5 pm, Suwas Pun, In-charge of the CPN-Maoist, Dang, informed.
