Committee to study road accidents

KATHMANDU, Nov 10: The Department of Transport Management has formed a Committee in order to carry out a technical study of the major road accidents that have taken place in the recent past in various parts of the country, and present a report along with necessary recommendations.



The Committee has been formed under the convenorship of Technical Director at the Department of Transport Management, Prem Kumar Singh and includes as members the Divisional Engineer at the Department of Roads, the DSP at the Traffic Police Division, the Mechanical Engineer and a Section Officer at the Department of Transport Management.[break]



According to the Ministry of Labour and Transport, the Committee shall present its report to the Director General of the Department of Transport Management within a week.
