CIAA registers charge-sheet against Banauli secy

KATHMANU, April 4: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has registered a chargesheet against Secretary at Banauli Danauli VDC of Mahottari district, Shatrughan Mishra, for committing corruption by abusing social security allowance.



The charge sheet was filed in accordance with the Corruption Control Act-2059 BS for siphoning off the social security allowance worth Rs 217,400 by forging fraudulent finger prints of 124 people.



The anti-graft body has sent a letter to the District Technical Office, Mahottari to submit report after making onsite inspection for checking whether actions are carried out as per the appropriated budget in regard to the projects implemented through users committee at VDC level, said CIAA Spokesperson Krishna Prasad Dhungana.
