Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow officially divorced

Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow have officially divorced after the Coldplay frontman finally signed on the divorce papers which were filed by his estranged wife in April last year. The 39-year-old vocalist and the 43-year-old actress have agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their kids Apple and Moses. They are also expected to split their assets evenly as part of their amicable separation, reported Metro.

"Chris has now signed the divorce papers. There was no underlying reason why he had left them for so long and he was planning to do it eventually," a source said. "There is no bad blood between him and Gwyneth and they remain very close. As ever, their number one priority is their kids," the source further added.


Paltrow announced her "conscious uncoupling" with Martin in 2014 after ten years of marriage. She has since moved on with 'Glee' co-creator Brad Falchuk, but still keeps in touch with her ex-husband. She said he's like her brother after their split.

Martin is currently with 'Peaky Blinders' actress Annabelle Wallis.
