Census preparation started

MAHENDRANAGAR, April 9: The District Census Office, Kanchanpur, began the preliminary preparation for the National Census-2068.

The office recently organized a seminar to raise awareness on census. [break]

Padamraj Pandey, district census officer, said three area offices will be set up each at Jhalari, Belauri and Bhimdutta Municipality to facilitate the census in the district.

On the occasion, chief district officer, Buddhi Bahadur Khadka and local development officer Mani Kumar Gyawali urged all to make the census a success saying this census was more important than that of previous ones.

Speaking at the program, journalist duo Chitranga Thapa and Menuka Bista said this census was more important from the viewpoint of federalism and inclusiveness.
