KATHMANDU: A tri-partite meeting of Labor and Transport Management Minister, student organizations and transport entrepreneurs ended inconclusively on Tuesday after the entrepreneurs refused to accept the new fares fixed by the government. Student organizations, however, insisted that the rate fixed by the government should be accepted by the transporters. “Minister Lekh Raj Bhatta has asked for three days to settle the issue with transporters first,” said Nara Bahadur Dhami, an ANNFSU leader who took part in the talks. Transporters and student unions in the meeting had a common demand that the state-owned Nepal Oil Corporation adjust the oil price aT par with the the price in international market. [break]
