KATHMANDU, Feb 4: British Prince Edward’s wife, Sophia, has arrived in Nepal. She landed at Tribhuvan International Airport at 11 am today and is on a private visit to Nepal.
Foreign Secretary Amrit Kumar Rai welcomed princess Sophia at the airport. Prince Edward is expected to arrive in Nepal via India shortly.
The prince and his wife are scheduled to meet President Ram Chandra Poudel today. It is mentioned that the first phase of the foreign visit for Nepal’s Visit Nepal Year 2025 will last for six days.
