Both the legs of Niroj Karki have been crushed and fingers of his right leg have been severed. He was crossing the road with his mother when the bus hit him. The boy has been taken to Sheer memorial Hospital in Banepa for treatment.
The bus -- Na 2 Kha 3563 -- was going from Kathmandu to Melamchi. Police have taken the bus and the driver in custody.
