Boxing coach Shrestha no more

KATHMANDU, March 15: Boxing coach Krishna Man Shrestha, who had been suffering from motor neuron disease (MND) for the last two years, died in TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj on Thursday night. He was 47.



As a player, Shrestha had won a silver medal in the fifth and and a bronze medal in the seventh South Asian Games. Players and sports personalities paid last tribute to Shrestha at the National Sports Council premises this morning.  A permanent resident of Naxal, Kathmandu, Shrestha leaves behind two sons and a daughter.
