In the final match, Bishnu defeated defending champion Keshav Neupane of Nagar Bikash Samitee. The tug of war and football will be held on the last day of the tournament on Sunday.
Sajan, Rohan set up title clash in boxing
KATHMANDU, Sept 5: Sajan Shahi Thakuri of Hetauda Boxing Club set up the title clash with Rohan Pradhan of Ilam in the 64 kg bout in the ongoing U-17 National Men´s Boxing Championship being held at Shahid Smriti Khel Maidan, Bhaktapur. Sajan defeated Suresh Bohara of Kailali in the semis and Rohan outplayed Rajan Lama of Lalitpur.

In 60 kg, Deependra Shrestha of Makawanpur and Umesh Rijal of Tikathali made it through to the final. Deependra edged out Sanjay Thapa of Salyan and Umesh crushed Shivanarayan Lohal of Bhaktapur.
In 57 kg, Yogesh Gurung of Dhading defeated Bharat Pariyar of Rolpa and Jayaram Kharbuja ousted Jeetendra Rawal of Rolpa to meet in the final. Similarly, in 54 kg, Narendra Deshar of Nepal Youth Boxing thrashed Bal Narasingh Kunwar of Kapilvastu and Dhirendra Chand of Kanchanpur beat Tilak Rawal of Dang in the semifinals.
In 51 kg, Bikram Pariyar of Naxal Yuva Mandal downed Gopal Basnet of Jhapa and Rahul Pradhan of Ilam defeated Jeetman Budha of Salyan to make it through to the final. In the 69 kg category, Mohan Khadka of Rolpa and Pravin Bali of Salyan set up the title clash winning their respective bouts.
