Bed for tots

KATHMANDU, July 7: Making Children sleep in traditional and dull looking beds or having them share their parents´ bedroom is more or less similar to giving them psychological torture´, says Hareram Jojiju of Era Acryl International. "Very rarely do parents here spend on children´s furniture thinking that the purchase is unworthy as children grow up and the furniture become useless," added Jojiju. The health of a young growing organism also depends upon its physical surrounding and the kind of materials parents chose for their kids. [break]



Children are bound to compromise with what their parents give them. After all, for much of human history, parents raised babies without spending a fortune and without considering the dizzying array of options available.



But the scenario has changed today. Children have become more demanding and with the exposure to the outside world the range of their desires has widened. So what if your child revolts and demands a doll house bed or wishes to have his sleeping piece adorned with Mickey and Minnie.

"The furniture we make are ecologically pure. These beds are completely different form the traditional ones. They are painted with non-toxic and eco-friendly acrylic color," says Hareram Jojiju. Acrylic, which is a washable paint gives a gloss to the furniture and makes them long-lasting.



What more will a child ask for when they have things that please them and are done with brightly colored cartoon characters. And nothing will give more happiness to the parents than a smile on their kids´ faces.
