Nepal Earthquake Rescue Team Bangladesh, consisting of Bangladeshi specialist doctors and Nepali doctors from Zainul Haque Sikder Women's Medical College and Hospital Pvt Ltd, Bangladesh, has coordinated with BibekSheel Nepali and supplied medicine, medical supplies and dry food with support from the National Bank Limited Bangladesh.'The team has planned to visit various affected areas of Nepal as part of its rescue and relief mission. They have been working closely with the medical team at BibekSheel Nepali for facilitating the victims of the earthquake with their medical expertise since their arrival on May 8," reads a press statement issued by BibekSheel Nepali on Friday.
Bibeksheel Nepali informed that the supplies will be distributed in the remote areas in Listikot VDC and Barhabise VDC of Shindupalchowk; Changunarayan VDC and Bageshwhari VDC of Bhaktapur; and some other nearest affected areas of Kathmandu district.
The medical supplies worth five million rupees comprise of essential drugs, medical kits including examination gloves, surgical gloves, IV cannulas, arm slings, bandages, sanitary napkins, face masks, thermometer and disposable syringe among others.
