Baidya's demands cannot be met: Dahal

POKHARA : UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the demands of the CPN-Maoist can not be met. The Mohan Baidya led party has demanded annulment of the 11 point agreement and the 25-point ordinance on removing constitutional difficulties and dissolution of the Khil Raj Regmi-led government.

Speaking at a press meet in Pokhara on Tuesday, Dahal said, “The High Level Political Committee meeting has concluded the demands raised by the Baidya-led party cannot be fulfilled. We are holding HLPC meeting on Wednesday and we will set a bottom line for talks.” [break]

On a different note, Dahal claimed that the Upendra Yadav-led Madhesi People´s Rights Forum-Nepal will participate in the elections process. He further maintained that November polls would not be postponed at any cost.
