We are not in favor of a confrontational approach. We have not heard from the metropolis and we will continue to protest until the demand is met. Our movement will remain peaceful," he said.

The ruling party has blocked the vehicles going to Banchare Danda landfill site from 6AM today at Dhunibesi-1. Despite the agreement made several times, they have blocked the dumping saying that the waste disposal should be stopped forever. Workers of the Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center) and CPN (United Socialist) have blocked the garbage disposal saying it had an adverse effect on them, making the life of local residents very difficult and local residents are suffering from various chronic diseases and adverse effects on human health.
