According to Hidden Treasure, the organizer of the yearly event, 19 participants from across the country will be competing among themselves for the coveted title of Miss Nepal 2016.
All the contestants were groomed and trained in various aspects of personality and leadership development for the last two weeks. During the five-week grooming period, the contestants met various personalities, the coordinator of the Hidden Treasure Subeksha Khadka told Republica.
This is the 21st edition of the Miss Nepal Pageant. Contestants from Pokhara, Chitwan, Nepalgunj, Dharan, Biratnagar and Butwal are taking part in the country's biggest beauty pageant.
As per the criteria + 2 graduates aged between 19 and 24 can take part in the pageant. The grand finale of the Miss Nepal Pageant 2016 had held on April 8.
The contestants include Ashma KC, Kritima Rimal, Sajum Katuwal, Sachina Shrestha, Jubi Joshi, Ayushma Shrestha, Roshani Khatri, Soniya Sharma, Anshu KC, Kusum Thapa Magar, Asmi Shrestha, Karuna Khadka, Anita Karki, Barsha Lekhi, Sandipa Limbu, Srijana Regmi, Prativa Dawadi, Namrata Shrestha and Prerana Adhikari.
