APF thrashes Tyod

KATHMANDU, July 31: Nepal APF School thrashed Tyod Secondary School 12-0 on Wednesday in their Kathmandu Valley-wide selection round match of the boys´ section in the Coca-Cola Cup Inter-school Boys´ and Girls´ National Football Tournament. Rabin Karki scored a hat-trick for APF while Rabin Parajuli, Dinesh Shahi and Nirajan Nepali scored two goals each. Niraj Nepali, Ayush Dulal and Rabindra Airee added a goal each for APF. [break]



Greatwall International School defeated Akash Ganga International Academy 3-0 as Jeevan Tamang scored a brace and Uttar Neupane added a third. Meanwhile, Trungram International Academy beat Vishwa Niketan Higher Secondary School 3-2 in tie-breaker after the regulation time ended in a 1-1 draw. Suraj Thapa gave an early lead to Vishwa Niketan while Sangam Shrestha scored the equalizer for TIA in the last minute of the first half. Similarly, Divya Gyan School edged past Shambhavi School 4-3 in tie-breaker and Changu Narayan Higher Secondary School registered an identical victory over Pawan Prakriti School. Meanwhile, Jyotidaya Cooperative School gave a walkover to Pragati Higher Secondary School on Wednesday.
