APF came from a two sets down to complete a 3-2 set win over defending champion Nepal Police while New Diamond beat visiting team UP India 3-1 sets.Going down first two sets 19-25 and 17-25, APF made a remarkable comeback in the third and fourth sets leveling the sets at 2-2.
APF won the third and fourth sets with identical 25-13 points. Then APF wrapped up a 15-9 win in the fifth set. Meanwhile, New Diamond raced into two sets lead with a 25-6 and 25-10 win over UP India. But UP showed some resilience by narrowly winning the third set 25-22 before New Diamond sealed a victory with a 25-13 fourth set win.
