CHITWAN (REPUBLICA): The 17th national convention of All Nepal National Free Student Union (Sixth), the student wing of Rastriya Janamorch (RJ), kicked off in Chitwan on Friday. The three-day convention was inaugurated by RJ Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC. Addressing the gathering, KC lambasted the major parties´ decision to go for federal system. "If we fail to force the parties to cancel the decision to go for federal system, it is certain that our country will be disintegrated into many parts," KC said. The student leaders said the convention will come up with specific programs to support the mother party´s campaign against federalism. The party has been advocating unitary governance system based on decentralization with local autonomy.
