'An Evening of Gypsy Jazz' today

KATHMANDU, July 26: “An Evening of Gypsy Jazz,” a musical event organized by JJ Sultans, is all set to be held today at the Trisara Garden, Lazimpat.



With the objective of collaborating of Nepali musical talents with the international ones and presenting the homegrown talents amongst the foreign and Nepali audiences, the event will witness collective performances by four artists.[break]



The Nepali performers for the event are Hari Maharjan and Dharmendra Mali while the foreign artists are Monsif Mzibri (Morocco) and Hugo Bosq (France). Hari Maharjan and Dharmendra Mali will also be giving a duet performance.



The event will be attended by high-profile Nepali and foreign audiences, with the guest of honor being Marissa Polnerow, Officer of Cultural Affairs at the US Embassy of Kathmandu. The program is also open for public with the entry fee of Rs 300 per person.



Tickets to the show will be available at the restaurant itself.



The program is scheduled to commence at 7 pm. The same event will also take place on Sunday, August 4.
