Alleged kidnappers released

ITAHARI, Oct 6: The District Court Sunsari on Monday released three persons accused of kidnapping a Nepal Telecom staff two months ago. The three have been accused of kidnapping Shekhar Pokharel, a staffer at the Nepal Telecom Eastern Regional Office.



Among those released by the District Court Sunsari are the alleged mastermind Jiyalal Mehta, who is chief of Nepal Telecom Inaruwa, Santosh Mahato of Kaptangunj and Budh Narayan Mahato of Inaruwa. A single bench of Kush Kumar Nembang had issued the order for their release.
