Agnipath portrays war-era, say critics

KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Literature critics organized a talk program on the novel ´Agnipath´ authored by Keshav Pudasaini on Saturday in Kathmandu.



During the talk, critics precisely delivered speech on the positive as well as negative aspects of the novel.



Amar Giri, Chairman of the Progressive Writers´ Association, was of the view that the novel carried out real picture of a decade-long war. "The novel vividly portrays the decade-long war that claimed around 14,000 lives," he added.



Addressing the talk program, literature analyst and professor at the Tribhuvan University, Ram Prasad Bhattarai remarked that the novel gives a good portrait of the war-era.
