Abdur, Sohag to play in Bat for Nepal

KATHMANDU, July 31: Bangladesh spinners Abdur Razzak and Sohag Gazi will represent the World XI against Nepal for the Bat for Nepal cricket tournament to be held in Malaysia on August 9. The event is organized with the view to raise funds for the victims of April 25 earthquake.

The host, Malaysia Cricket Association (MCA), has confirmed that Bangladeshi spinners Abdur and Sohag will play for the World XI. The MCA is organizing the 50-over match in Kinrara Oval in Kuala Lumpur.

The 33-year-old Abdur has represented Bangladesh in 12 Tests, 153 One Day Internationals and 34 T20Is matches, while 23-year-old Sohag has played 10 Tests, 20 One Day Internationals and 10 T20Is for Bangladesh.
