ANFA officials are all set to prepare yearly calendar on the occasion of general assembly to be held in the capital from Monday. ANFA source confirmed that league will be held after South Asian Games to be held in Bangladesh on February, next year.
Due to postponement of national league, the ANFA has decided to organize a knock out football tournament right after Tihar. ANFA will unveil its yearly calendar on Monday.
Inter-club national football from Sept 10
KATHMANDU, Sept 5: All star Club, Tanahun is all set to organize Club Level National Football Tournament from September 10, the organizers told at a press meet held in the capital on Saturday.
The second edition of the tournament will feature the country´s top football clubs like Nepal Police Club, Nepal Army Club, Armed Police Force, Anfa Youth-19, Sahara Club, Kaski Eleven, Sankata Club, Himalayan Sherpa Club, Inter Sport Club (Butwal) and the hosts. The tournament will be held at Gorakhkali Rubber Industry Ground, Tanahu from Sept 10 to 20.
The winner of the tournament will receive Rs 11,111 as cash prize, while runner up will receive Rs 50000 rupees. In the knockout tournament, player of the tournament, best goalkeeper, best striker and disciplined team will be awarded Rs 5,000.
