5 YCL cadres arrested over attack on Bista

KATHMANDU, Dec 12: Police on Saturday have arrested five Young Communist League cadres including the league´s Rukum district member Suresh KC in connection with Tuesday´s attack on journalist Tika Bista.

District Police Office, Rukum, has formed a seven-member probe committee chaired by inspector Diwakar Ghimire to investigate the incident. Police said they interrogated nearly a dozen YCL cadres in the course of the investigation. Over 100 police personnel have been mobilized in the district headquarters Musikot and surrounding areas.
