SURKHET: A joint team of the Nepal Army (NA) and officials of Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve has arrested three people for timber smuggling in Kanchanpur. The team has also seized 276 cubic feet of timber from them. The three were arrested from Daiji VDC-8 of Kanchanpur on Friday on a tip-off provided by two persons arrested Thursday on the same charge. On Thursday, the team had attested Mohan Bohara and Ramesh Bohara, both of them of Daiji VDC-6.
