DANG, May 16: A person died and two injured in a road accident in Chaughera of Dang district on Saturday night.
Motorcycle rider Dinesh Kumar Panta of Gadhawa Deukhuri died after his motorcycle met with an accident after hitting two pedestrians. Saraswati Chaudhary and Sarita Chaudhary were injured when the motorcycle hit them.
Meanwhile at Jorpati in Kathmandu, Bhim Bahadur Kshetri (42) was killed after a tanker hit his motorcycle on Saturday night.
In Aambu-3 of Tanahun, Santa Bahadur Adhikari (45) died when a tanker hit him. Tilak Tamang, 23, of Pokhara was critically injured.
Meanwhile, 15 persons were injured on Sunday when police used force to resume traffic in Damauli. The traffic was obstructed by Adhikari´s relatives demanding compensation.
