BHADRAPUR, May 18: At least 24 people were injured when a bus met with an accident at Ramchowk in Charpane-3 of Jhapa district along the east-west highway Monday morning.
Among the injured, the condition of four persons is critical, the police said.

Critically injured Binda Hamal of Nawalparasi, Bimala KC of Kathmandu, Pepsicola staff Kabitakala Moktan of Kathmandu and bus owner Khagendra Basnet of Panchthar were being sent to other hospital for treatment, the police said, adding that other injured are being treated in Kanchenjunga Hospital.
The bus was heading to Kakarbhitta from Kathmandu. The accident occurred after the bus collided with a stationary truck.
