The deceased have been identified as Indian nationals Nanda Kishor Yadav,14 and Lalan Yadav,12, sons of Madan Yadav of India Rusulpur Gaun Panchayat, informed SP Sanubabu Thapaliya of Rautahat District Police Office.
The incident came to light after a local grass-cutter found the bodies floating on the swollen Bagmati River at 2:30 pm today and reported the same to the police.
Police said they have informed about it to their family and are investigating into the incident.
