1,200 drivers booked in Rasuwa for violating traffic rules

DHUNCHE (Rasuwa), Jan 2: Traffic police in Rasuwa have intensified a crackdown on vehicles violating traffic rules.

As part of the campaign, 1,200 drivers were booked in the past five months for breaching traffic rules and around Rs 500,000 have been collected in fine, said Nawaraj Khadka, chief of the District Traffic Police Office.


The drivers violating traffic rules were found to be carrying passengers on the rooftop and carrying goods, violating set rules, he said. RSS
