Police seize bomb-making materials from Kathmandu-bound bus from New Delhi
Police have seized a huge amount of bomb-making materials from a Kathmandu-bound bus from New Delhi in Kailali on Friday night. A team of Armed Police Force seized the bomb-making materials including detonator from the passenger bus (Na 5 Kha 7245) during the security check at Gadda Chauki border point, according to DSP Netra KC.

28 children rescued from India
The Central Child Welfare Board has rescued 28 children from India. The children had been taken to the neighboring country from Mahottari, Dhanusa, Siraha, and Sarlahi on different pretexts.The children were being taken to Chennai from Sitamadi in Bihar of India when the Sitamadi administration intercepted them, according to Chief District Officer of Mahottari Umesh Kumar Dhakal. The children were later handed over to the Nepali authorities in the Nepali border at Bhittamod of Mahottari.
Team leaves for India to participate in international championship
A national team of the Japan Goju-Ryo Karate Do Mission Association left here today for India, representing Nepal in the International Karate and Kick-boxing Championship to be held in Patna, India. The 35-member team is led by association's chief instructor KB Rana (Kaji). The championship will be held on April 22 and 23 at Pataliputra Sports Complex in Patna. President of Nepal-India Friendship Society, Shanta Kumar Sharma, send off the Nepali national team by handing over the national flag at Belahiya. Eight countries including Nepal are taking part in the championship.
