Acting PM Singh and secretary Gelal reach agreements on work-performance

KATHMANDU, Sept 24: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh, who is also acting Prime Minister (PM) and Secretary Maniram Gelal have reached an agreement on work-performance.

Acting PM Singh signed the work-performance agreement in the ministry on Tuesday. On September 12, Singh had signed a work-performance agreement with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. An agreement has been reached between Singh and the secretary to ensure the effectiveness of the work to be carried out within the ministry.

Following the signing agreement, Singh said, “I had signed the work-performance agreement with the Honorable Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli after assuming responsibility of the Ministry of Urban Development. According to those commitments, I believe that the work-performance agreement will be strictly followed so that there will be no obstacles in the performance and the projects will be completed on time. He expressed his belief that the agreement would help advance the ministry's work in a way that the public”

According to Secretary Gelal, the work-performance has been signed focusing on systematic and planned urban development, safe and affordable housing, accessible and disaster-resistant buildings, projects and projects in the area of ​​local infrastructure and improvement in service delivery, completion of projects within the specified period of time, ensuring that citizens directly experience the benefits of development and good governance. Similarly, the agreements focus on the development of the nation through planned urbanization, ensuring a clean and sustainable environment.
