KATHMANDU, March 26: Nepal is set to play the second match against Ireland 'A' today as part of T20 practice matches.

The match is scheduled to begin at 1 PM at TU Cricket Ground. Following this match, Nepal will embark on a tour to India.

In the previous match on Monday, Nepal secured a victory over Ireland by 6 wickets.

Given that T20I and T20 matches are not officially recognized, this serves as a practice match, allowing Nepali players to compete without the burden of pressure.

Rohit Paudel will lead the Nepali team, while Neil Rock will captain Ireland. Ireland's squad includes 9 players who have previously represented the senior team.

Key players such as Peter Moor, Gareth Delany, and Ben White from Ireland's senior team pose a significant challenge.

Meanwhile, Nepal's lineup relies on players like Dipendra Singh Airee, Kushal Malla, and Kushal Bhurtel. With today's practice match, Nepal has the opportunity to test its bench strength.

Anil Shah, Bivek Yadav, and Akash Chand, who were not featured in the first match, are expected to get a chance to play today.
