Life hit hard as snow blankets Mustang (Photo feature)

MYAGDI, Jan 1: Mustang district has received snowfall since Sunday afternoon. Life has been hit hard following the snowfall in all 16 VDCs of the district including Jomsom, the district headquarters. 

Transportation has come to a complete halt due to the snowfall.  

Local Niraj Thakali told Republica Online that they are facing difficulties to travel as the snowfall has plummeted mercury. Snow as thick as one foot has blanketed the areas nearby mountains.  

Highlands of Myagdi district too have witnessed snowfall.
