KATHMANDU, April 20: Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) has recommended the name of lawmaker Resham Lama in place of Birat Bista for the post of Assistant Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Developmenton on Wednesday.
Earlier on Monday, a meeting of the party had decided to call back Minister Birat Bista from the government accusing him of working against the party's policies.

According to Mohan Shrestha, RPP-N spokesperson, the party wrote a letter to Prime Minister to this effect. Lama is a lawmaker from Kavre district.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is ,however, yet to remove Bista from the post.
At a program, Minister Bista had openly advocated for the monarchy at a program of Shahi Yuba Shakti.
Bista is son of Keshar Bahadur Bista, who has been suspended from the party for his alleged anti-party activities.
