The new Polo Diesel provides maximum power of 55 KW at the rate of 4,200 rpm and maximum torque of 180 Nm at the rate of 2,000 rpm. The car comes with 5-speed manual transmission with electronic power steering.
“The car with sporty design has top speed of 164.1 km per hour and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km in just 14.1 seconds,” Pooja International said in a statement.
The car has disc brakes at the front and drum brakes in the rear. It has McPherson strut with stabilizer bar front suspension and semi-independent trailing arm rear suspension.
“The new Polo Diesel Comfortline has various features like keyless entry, rear defogger and wiper, electronically adjustable outside mirror, height adjustable driver seat, and multifunction display,” the statement said, adding that the car comes with 15-inch tires, rear and front fog lamps, tile and telescopic steering wheel, air conditioner, 4-power windows, 2-din music system, metallic paint and 60 by 40 folding rear seats.
Similarly, the Polo Diesel Highline has all these features along with other advanced features like music control on steering, rear parking sensors, dual airbag, Anti Lock Braking System (ABS), sporty alloy wheel, RCD 310 player with USB, interior chrome trim and leather trim on steering and gear knob.
According to the company, the new Polo Diesel has longer service interval of 7,500 km with 2 years of unlimited kilometers warranty.
“The new Polo Diesel is the best in class due to German engineering; it provides the best mileage with undercover engine guard. Volkswagen being pioneer in diesel engine, the car has exceptional performance and is perfect for long drive”, said Bogati.
The new Polo Diesel Comfortline is priced at Rs 3.19 million, while Highline is available at Rs 3.39 million.
Pooja International will allow interested people to test drive the car at its showroom in Panipokhari for a week.
