HETAUDA, August 24: Three children died after being swept away by swollen Manahari River while they were swimming in the river.
The deceased have been identified as Aman Thing,11, Alekh Rumba ,7, and Prakash Rumba, 7, of Manohari Rural Munucipality-7, according to DSP Bamdev Gautam.
Likewise, Buddha Lama, a local of the same rural munucipality, also sustained injuries while he was swept away by the same river. He is currently undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
The bodies of the three deceased have been taken to Hetauda for the postmortem.
